Questions, answered
Practical answers for UK, US and EU businesses: what we build, scoped starting prices, search visibility, AI integration and privacy. Deliverables and costs are agreed before work starts; outcomes are not guaranteed.
What digital solutions does Smart Connects provide?
We design and build business websites, web and mobile apps, AI integrations and WhatsApp assistants. CRM connections, lead management, bookings, payments and SEO, AEO and GEO can be added to an existing website or included in a new project.
Can you work with clients in the UK, US and EU?
Yes. We provide remote project delivery for businesses in the United Kingdom, United States and European Union. Discovery and handover are in English, with meeting times agreed around your time zone. Local-language content, currency, privacy and hosting requirements are scoped before work starts.
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO improves how a website can be discovered and understood in search. AEO organises clear answers to customer questions. GEO focuses on useful, reliable content that generative answer systems can interpret and may reference. They overlap; AEO and GEO do not replace technical SEO.
Can you guarantee a top ranking or an AI recommendation?
No. Search engines and AI platforms choose what to display. We improve crawlability, content clarity and relevant structured data, then measure observable traffic and enquiries. We do not guarantee rankings, featured answers, indexing or citations in ChatGPT, Google AI features or other answer engines.
How much does a project cost?
Published GBP starting prices are £299 for a small website, £799 for a one-workflow web app, £249 for a single AI integration and £149 for a one-off SEO, AEO and GEO review. These are limited-scope starting points, not unlimited packages. The written quote confirms deliverables, any applicable tax and third-party costs before you commit.
Are monthly charges included in the build price?
No. Design and development are priced separately from ongoing services. Standard brochure-site hosting and maintenance cost £10–£15/month, depending on the agreed care level. AI usage, app hosting, paid plugins and payment-provider fees are separate where required.
Can I request a quote in dollars or euros?
Yes. Website prices are shown in British pounds (GBP). Ask for a USD or EUR quote and we will confirm the currency, payment method and any conversion costs in writing. The site does not display automatic exchange-rate estimates.
Can you improve my existing website instead of replacing it?
Yes. We first check your platform and access. A focused design update, a CRM connection, an AI-assisted workflow or search-readiness improvements may be enough. We only recommend a rebuild if the existing platform cannot support the agreed work.
What does an AI integration involve?
We define one task, identify the approved data and connect a suitable AI API to the website or business tool. Testing covers representative questions, failures, permissions and usage costs. Sensitive decisions should remain subject to human approval.
How long will a website or app take?
Timing depends on scope, content readiness and integrations. A small brochure site can often be planned in weeks; an app or custom AI workflow needs a separate estimate. We agree milestones after discovery rather than promise the same delivery time for every project.
Who owns the website, content and accounts?
The proposal sets out ownership and handover. You retain your supplied content, domain and business accounts. Third-party software and AI services remain subject to their own licences. We identify these dependencies before development starts.
How do you handle privacy and international data requirements?
We agree the data involved, access permissions, service providers and hosting requirements during scoping. Do not send passwords, customer records or sensitive data in the enquiry form. Where needed, processing terms and safeguards must be agreed before a system handles live personal data.
What is included in the September website offer?
The September 2026 offer is limited to five new brochure-website projects at £199 each, with £10–£15/month maintenance after launch. It ends on 30 September 2026 or when all five places are allocated. Availability is confirmed on enquiry; the website does not show a live remaining-place count. The offer terms describe the included scope and exclusions.
